WOW! in the Classroom

The WOW! in the Classroom flight offers WPAFB personnel (scientists, engineers, researchers, Program Managers, and Active-Duty Military) to visit your classroom. With all the necessary materials, we will present an in-person STEM lesson full of hands-on activities.

This free resource is provided to teachers to help them meet the STEM objectives in their curriculum, while also introducing students to Air Force personnel and exciting STEM career ideas.

Over 50 lessons are available, tailored to grade levels and Ohio Department of Education standards.

Using the grade level tabs below, click on the DETAILS button for each title to find:

  • the lesson summary
  • lesson duration
  • suggested grade level
  • included activities
  • if group work is involved
  • ODE standards
