The Wright-Patterson Educational Outreach Office was established in 1998 to share the base history, experience, and capabilities with the K-12 educational community through internal programs, partnerships, and individual involvement. It is one of many educational outreach offices within the Department of Defense. The mission of this office is to attract, inspire, and develop student awareness and excitement in all fields of STEM, aviation, and aerospace in order to develop our nation's future scientific and technical workforce to meet future defense technological challenges.
