Read Across America
The National Education Association’s Read Across America event is the nation’s largest celebration of reading.
Each year, the WPAFB Educational Outreach Office and the National Museum of the United States Air Force partner to hold a "read-in" for local students. Students in grades 1 through 5 are invited to the museum to listen to stories read to them by volunteers, both civilian and military, from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
