Students get the chance to learn and create colorful replicas of DNA and RNA with K’NEX Education! This kit enables you to build 19 DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and RNA (ribonucleic acid) models and is specially designed to aid in understanding the molecules that make up DNA and RNA. Students can build two scale models at a time with this kit. The DNA Replication and Transcription Set contains 525 durable plastic pieces that can be attached to one another in different ways to build a basic DNA molecule with a flexible double helix. This K’NEX Education set can support 2 to 3 students working as a team and makes a great demonstration guide for students in grades 5 through 12. With K’NEX Education, children learn about DNA’s Structure, Replication, and Transcription as well as Coding, Translation, and Mutations. They get the opportunity to discuss and build scale models of a daughter double helix or DNA transcription. This educational tool provides endless entertainment and valuable learning experiences.
